Our project uses a dual licensing model (GPL-3.0 open source + commercial) with plans to evolve toward more permissive licenses. The CLA ensures we have the rights to:
- Accept your contributions to both open source and commercial releases
- Transition components to more permissive licenses as they mature
- Maintain clear patent rights for all contributions
Individual contributors: Sign when you submit your first pull request.
Corporate contributors: Your employer must sign the Corporate CLA.

Community Standards
We keep it simple
- 1
Be respectful.
Treat everyone with professional courtesy. We're a community of developers, designers, and audio enthusiasts.
- 2
Be helpful.
Share knowledge and provide context (code, versions, frameworks) when asking for or giving support.
- 3
Stay on topic.
This space is for AudioUI, audio/MIDI development, and related technical topics.
- 4
Use common sense.
If it feels like spam, harassment, or off-topic noise, it probably is.
Detailed channel-specific guidelines are available in our Discord server's #rules channel.
